Hello ISC Community Members,

I am so grateful for all our “IFMA’s Sustainability Community (ISC)” members. ISC has been growing, membership increased by 88% and I’m hopeful that we can continue on this path. Changing our name
attracted new members and re-engaged past members. We also welcomed Eric Teicholz SFP Scholarship Winners into our community. Do you have a friend and colleague who could benefit from ISC Membership? Please send their contact info to Sustainability@IFMA.org.

It’s an exciting year for IFMA’s 2024 Awards of Excellence, our community, IFMA’s Sustainability
Community (ISC) was nominated for Council or Community of the Year and three of our members were nominated for 2024 Author of the Year: Rex Miller, Paul Doherty, and Ed Rondeau. Richard Gunpat was also nominated for the Distinguished Member. Congratulations to all the nominees and best of luck.

Were you nominated for an award? Contact us, as we would like to highlight your accomplishments in
future Newsletters. I’m proud to announce that for the first time, ISC is sponsoring an Eric Teicholz Sustainability Scholarship. It’s an opportunity for an individual interested in earning their Sustainability Facility Professional (SFP) credential to receive free tuition. The program is administered by the IFMA Foundation, the scholarship is provided to young professionals based on financial need, diversity and potential impact that the scholarship might have on an applicant.

The ISC Board of Directors is busy working on programs and events for 2024 – 2025. Your help is needed
